REV. MIKE BOWLING

Pastor 

Born:  February 16, 1950 – Graduated from Parker High School.  Married to:  Charlene Roddy Bowling on November 6, 1971.  They have 2 daughters and seven grandchildren.

            Pastor Bowling was called to preach the gospel in 1972 and began his studies at North Greenville Junior College in January, 1974.  He received the Associates Degree in General Studies from North Greenville in 1976.  He then transferred to Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Religion in 1977.  Later, he studied Homiletics at Fruitland Bible Institute in Hendersonville, NC.

            Pastor Bowling pastored three other churches prior to coming to Airport Baptist Church on August 1, 2005.  He is very sound in his theology and conservative in his thinking.  He believes the Bible is the inerrant word of God and preaches the whole counsel of God.
